Train solo or with a partner

Team workouts say how to share the work: split it as you wish, take turns (you go, I go), or move together in synchro. Pick solo or team once and it stays that way.

Works with what you have

No sled? Push a heavy dumbbell or a prowler on turf. No SkiErg? Row the same metres. No track? Use a treadmill at 1% incline.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How long is each workout?

40 to 48 minutes of main work. Add a 10-minute warm-up and a 5-minute cool-down.

Do I need a partner?

No. Every workout has a solo version and a team-of-2 version. Pick the one that suits you that day.

What equipment do I need?

A gym with the usual race kit is ideal: rower, SkiErg, sled, kettlebells, sandbag and wall ball. Missing something? Each piece of kit has a swap, such as rowing the same metres when there is no SkiErg.

Can I see the workouts ahead of time?

You see the whole current week, Monday to Sunday, so you can plan your sessions. A new week opens every Monday.

Do I have to record my scores?

No. Each workout says how it is scored, so you can track it in your own notes if you like.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time, from Account › Manage subscription. The Workout of the Day is $5 a month.
